CGCI Team & Council Members
CGCI’s Council Members serve as the organization’s governing board, providing strategic direction and oversight to strengthen U.S. and allied innovation capacity while accelerating investment through large-scale capital market engagement. Comprising senior leaders from defense, finance, and technology, the Council unites public and private perspectives to advance CGCI’s mission of linking security, innovation, and competitiveness. Its governance structure operates through three standing committees: the Policy & Governance Committee, which shapes an enabling policy framework for national security–aligned capital formation; the Financial Markets Committee, which ensures alignment across the capital continuum from venture to institutional to sovereign investment; and the Technology & Industry Committee, which drives innovation ecosystems across CGCI’s eight critical technology domains. Together, these committees enable the Council to steer CGCI’s strategy with both nonpartisan policy precision and market reach to meet this moment with decisive, action-oriented leadership.
